Hello to all the Wildcat football fanatics out there and welcome to my Inside The Numbers series. For those of you who don’t know, I started an Inside The Numbers series for every Kentucky basketball game this past season. Now, I will also be doing an Inside The Numbers post for every Kentucky football game as well and what better way to start off than with the Louisville game. After 70 years with no football played between the two schools, the rivalry was renewed in 1994 and this season will mark the 17th time that the two schools will battle for the Governor’s Cup, pictured above. So, I’ve decided to provide you with anything and everything that you would want to know concerning the intra-state rivalry game between Kentucky and Louisville since 1994. Without further ado, let’s get down to some numbers, shall we?
