Good Morning Big Blue Nation and welcome to the Jeremy Jarmon edition of the WBN Hot Links. We are dedicating this edition to Jeremy because of his historical, gut-wrenching performance as U.S.Marine Col. Nathan Jessup in a stage production of the movie “A Few Good Men”. I can hear Jeremy’s booming voice loud and clear screaming at the opposing counsel, “You want the truth, You can’t handle the truth!”
The reason for this dedication is quite simple. We have an ill-mannered, bile-spewing, unemployed, bitter, and quite possibly unstable guy out there in the world who is trying desperately to rebuild his career after losing it because he spent all of his time acting in the before mentioned manner. Specifically towards Coach John Calipari and the Big Blue Nation. As per our fearless leader’s earlier comments, I also will not mention his name, nor will I give him a link. So he can now add being dissed by WBN Hot Links to his ever growing resume of slanderous and possibly malevolent behaviors. Now that I have befouled myself with the mention of his existence, let us move on to the news and links this morning.
First up today are a couple of things from A Sea Of Blue. This one on that idiot I mentioned above, and this one on Mike Hartline and his being named starter at UK. It includes a host of other links on the announcement. Plenty to get your Hartline groove on. Congrats to Mike. Now lace ’em up partner because it gets bumpy from here.
This picture is worth 1000 words. And the very reason that fool mentioned in my opening is such a lame excuse for a human being. Tim Couch is back at work. Let’s all tune in and support him as he tries to resurrect the glory days of signal calling at UK.
Tony Wroten is not happy with Cal. OK, I have kept quiet about this kid until now, but if this is his attitude, then fine. Go somewhere else. I appreciate your talent level Tony, but your attitude leaves a lot to be desired. If I am mistaken here, then please e-mail me and explain why. Otherwise, enjoy the pacific northwest, I hear they have great coffee.
My personal favorite of the day, where the idea of top level teams leaving the NCAA is being discussed. And here is Mike Hartline’s counterpart at UL.
Rick Bozich over at the C-J highlights some of my concerns about our QB situation.
Ira Combs points out that while the Cats may be young, they are a much more talented group than in the past.Tim Matthews brings us another UKCat8fan video…..I do so love those things.
So I leave you for now with the immortal words of the late Will Geer in the movie Jeremiah Johnson: “Skin that one pilgrim and I’ll get ya another”. Be here tomorrow, same Cat-time, same Cat-channel.
