Zion Williamson and Immanuel Quickley are reportedly wanting to team up in college. This could spell good news for the Kentucky Basketball program.

According to reports by SEC Country’s Joe Mussatto, the nations top prospect Zion Williamson may be wanting to team up with point guard Immauel Quickley in college. With the Adidas Gauntlet being played in Williamson’s hometown of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Kentucky Basketball fans are tuned in to media surrounding the event.

Immanuel Quickley is thought of to be one of Kentucky’s top targets. He just may be one of the first players to make his pledge to the Cats. Quickley is very high on the Wildcats and the 247Sports crystal ball has Kentucky leading the way at 100 percent of the 14 total predictions.

For Williamson and Quickley to team up in college, that would pay huge dividends to the 2018 recruiting class.

In addition to any members of the current incoming freshman class, Williamson and Quickley could add to a huge lineup of stars. Im not even sure if Lexington can hold that much stardom.

Zion Williamson

It’s no secret that Zion Williamson is a monster on the basketball court. He plays with a mean streak and literally tries to rip the rim down every trip down the floor. His athleticism is uncanny. Williamson also stands just 6-foot-7 but weighs in at nearly 230 pounds. He basically looks like a tight end running the floor. Check it out.

At Kentucky, Williamson would fit in well with John Calipari’s “positionless” basketball plans. Calipari likes to put players on the floor who get together. Williamson is the perfect example of a player without a true position. He’s just a ball player. A blue collar worker on the boards with true in game fame is what Kentucky Basketball is all about.

Zion is no stranger to the lights and fame as he’s one of the biggest internet sensations since LeBron James. If you haven’t seen at least one of his dunk videos on twitter, you’re either living under a rock, or follow too much political content.

If Kentucky can somehow find a way to reel in both top prospects, the Wildcats will be sitting in pretty good shape. Quickley is fresh off his stint with USA Basketball under John Calipari. If both are going to be headed into college on a package deal, go ahead and consider Lexington, Kentucky the destination.
