Mohamed Bamba is one of the top prep recruits left to make his college decision. Kentucky Basketball coach John Calipari would love to have him.

Kentucky Basketball is boasting the current top recruiting class in all of college basketball. Why would they be pushing so hard to land Bamba? Simple reason, the kid is elite.

John Calipari is working to close out the recruiting window with a bang as a few pieces left of the puzzle still have decisions to make. Kentucky Basketball is going to deal with unfamiliar territory in terms of experience next season.

Adding Bamba would mean that Calipari has an elite defender and athlete to work with. The 2017 recruiting class has great athletes but everyone is going to jump at the chance to land a top three draft pick.

Kentucky is in good position to land Bamba according to 247Sports Crystal Ball results.  Kentucky is currently leading the predictions with 50 percent of voters picking the Big Blue Nation.

Here are a few reasons that Mohamed Bamba will look to make Lexington his home for at least the next year.
