Kentucky Basketball: Former Wildcat PG John Wall is Having Himself Quite the Playoffs

Former Kentucky Basketball star John Wall is determined to push his Washington Wizards as far into the NBA Playoffs as he can.

Twitter has blown up over the performance that John Wall has turned in over the course of the Wizards series victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

John Wall shows no mercy when it comes to showing Dennis Schroder who is boss. The former Kentucky Basketball point guard had himself quite the series agains the Hawks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Washington Wizards took the series 4-2 behind Wall and Bradley Beal.

Stats don’t Lie

In an unbelievable line of point totals, John Wall averaged just under 30 points per game in the series. To go along with his point totals, Wall also dished out 10.3 assists per game. “Wall-Star” definitely brought his A-Game to the NBA Playoffs and the world has taken notice.

You know the culture of the Kentucky Basketball program is nice when recruits who haven’t played a game yet can understand the greatness of John Wall. Jarred Vanderbilt, one of Kentucky’s most sought after recruits in the 2017 class took notice.

All eyes on the Isaiah Thomas/John Wall matchup

Wall’s Wizards will now matchup with the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are the number one seed in the Eastern Conference thanks to the unbelievable play of Isaiah Thomas. Head Coach Brad Stephens has turned the Celtics into a contender.

Now all eyes are on John Wall and Isaiah Thomas. Also, in what looks to be a prize fight of point guards, Thomas and Wall should put on one of the best shows of the playoffs.
