Kentucky Basketball’s star freshman Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox have declared for the NBA Draft.

Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox have decided that they will enter the NBA Draft. The dynamic backcourt duo led the Kentucky Basketball team to a birth in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Malik Monk finished the season with an average of 19.8 points per game as well as 2.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Monk was electric with the ball in his hand throughout the entire season. The highlight of Monk’s season had to be his 47 point performance against the North Carolina Tar Heels on December 17. That win against the Heels was all for not as Carolina put an end to Kentucky’s season just a week ago.

Malik had an incredible year and the Big Blue Nation is thankful for it. An incredible player with incredible pro upside will definitley be something to watch out for next season when the NBA kicks off with a new slew of Kentucky players. Monk penned a heartfelt letter to the BBN on the Players Tribune. Check it out.

Kentucky Basketball fans hope for the best for you Malik. Make us proud and keep shooting.

De’Aaron Fox

De’Aaron Fox announced that he will be declaring for the NBA Draft yesterday afternoon. The star Freshman point guard led the Wildcats all season. John Calipari as a habit of snagging top point guards and sending them to the league. Fox is just the latest. Calipari ranted and raved on Fox’s pro potential all year long and throughout the NCAA Tournament, we think he might have opened some eyes.

The story of Lonzo Ball has circulated through the internet with ease. Many think that Ball will be the best pro to come out of this year’s draft class. Well, De’Aaron Fox may have something to say about that. Fox took Ball to the woodshed in the matchup between the blue bloods. Kentucky would go on to defeat the UCLA Bruins to advance to the Elite Eight and Fox would be the talk of the town.

With the departure of De’Aaron Fox, Kentucky Basketball fans should feel a sense of pride. Fox is a player that could’ve been one of the greats at Kentucky. With this day and time, you have to respect the young man’s decision to make the jump. With talent like Fox, NBA teams will be lining up to take a crack at the guard.
