Former Kentucky Basketball star, Devin Booker had a historic night during Kentucky’s Sweet Sixteen matchup, but it doesn’t get much sweeter than this.

Here are two things you probably know: the Kentucky Basketball team won a marquee matchup against UCLA last Friday, and as you celebrated and glanced up at the bar’s television, you noticed Devin Booker scored 70 points for the Phoenix Suns against the Boston Celtics.

Here is some proof that it really happened.

Fire emoji is correct, NBA Skits. Do you see those buckets? I can’t believe he scored all of those buckets. This plays like a season’s highlight reel, not a single game’s.

Quickly, a few of Booker’s most impressive stats from the scoring eruption.

His 70 points were the most to be scored in a game since Kobe Bryant’s 82 against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006. The performance is now the highest scoring in Suns history, and oh, here’s my favorite: Booker is only the seventh player to score 70 in a game. I just shed a tear.

That’s right, folks. Nerlens Noel in Dallas feels like Christmas morning.

Sing along with me:

Noel has been taking advantage of his time on the court since being traded to the Mavericks. Of his 18 games as a Maverick, Noel has played in all but four games. He sat out his first game after being acquired, and missed a short stretch of three consecutive games.

With Noel’s history of injury issues, it is progress to see him be productive in his time with the Mavericks. Following the trade, the team has backed into a promising young core of Harrison Barnes, Nerlens Noel, and 10-Day contracts legend Yogi Ferrell, who was awarded a two-year deal for his play in Dallas.

Meanwhile, Old Man Dirk is doing Old Man Dirk things. The Mavericks may not be in the playoff hunt, but their future doesn’t look so dark thanks to additions like Noel.

Eat D-Lamb

The NBA D-League may be rebranding to the G-League, but until further notice, it’s looking like the Doron League for the Westchester Knicks.

Man, that first three?

That next runner in the lane?

Then that fadeaway jumper on the elbow? C’mon now.

Stay eatin’ D.Lamb. Even if you never make it back in the league, you won’t go hungry.
