Kentucky Basketball has had a tremendous history in the world of College Hoops. Three teams in the late 90’s empowered a new generation of Kentucky fans.

Kentucky Basketball has built a reputation for itself in the world of Men’s College hoops. Not many teams dominated he late 90’s like the Kentucky Wildcats. The Wildcats played in three consecutive NCAA championships from 1996 to 1998. While winning two out of the three titles, the state of Kentucky Basketball had reestablished itself as the prime program in the land.

Kentucky has established itself as a continued participant in the NCAA Tournament year in and year out. Always a threat to win it all, the Wildcats have made themselves one of the most historic programs in all of college basketball.

The recent success of John Calipari’s version of Kentucky can be accredited to a period in the late 90’s. Let’s flashback to the one of the greatest eras of Kentucky Basketball.
