Kentucky Football reloads it’s stables as it gets ready to take on the 2017 season. Spring is just around the corner and the Wildcat Football News will be heating up.

Mark Stoops and his Kentucky Football team are coming off of a season that fans have been waiting on for a long time. The Wildcats had earned their first trip to a Bowl Game since 2010. Although Kentucky was defeated by the Triple-Option attack of Georgia Tech, there are a lot of things to look forward to when it comes to Spring Practice.

The Blue/White Spring Game will be played on a Friday Night under the lights of Commonwealth Stadium. According to Josh Edwards, of 247 Sports, early enrollees will be eligible to participate in the contest.

This means that those who have signed but have yet to make it to campus, will be forced to take a seat. This is unfortunate as cans are chomping at the bits to see some of the newest Wildcats in game action.

Breakout Players

Kentucky will have to deal with the loss of Running Backs, Boom Williams and Jojo Kemp. Benny Snell broke onto the scene in 2016 rushing for over 1,000 yards and leading the team with 13 Touchdowns.  Also, they will have to replace the anchor of the offensive line, in Center Jon Toth. Guard, Ramsey Meyers has also called it quits after his Redshirt-Junior season. On the Defensive side of the ball, Stoops will have to find guys to fill a void in the nickelback position as Blake McClain and Marcus McWilson have departed along with reserve corner, J.D. Harmon.

With an influx of new faces on the field, Wildcat Blue Nation will take a stab on who will be the Wildcats Breakout players of the Year in 2017.
