ESPN Is Doing a 30 For 30 On The Kentucky/Duke Game In 1992

Gene Wojciechowski of ESPN tweeted out last night that he had just finished up an interview about the Christian Laettner shot against Kentucky in 1992. It is the most played/over played video during the tournament ever. I know, like me, it makes you Kentucky fans sick to see it over and over again. Well now Wojciechowski says ESPN is doing a “30 for 30” on the shot and how it changed basketball. Oh, and guess when it is supposed to air? Yeah, surprise, during selection Sunday this coming year.
Just keep in mind Big Blue Nation, that was also a sad night for Kentucky for a completely different reason, it was Cawood Ledford’s last broadcast for Kentucky ever. One of the best announcers ever to put on a headset and call a game. So when you’re watching this “30 for 30” be thinking about Cawood Ledfor instead.
