8. Vanderbilt Commodores (6-4, 4-3) Prior Rank #8- Well what do you know, Vanderbilt is bowl eligible again; and in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history. Congratulations (NOT Sarcasm). It took a Second Half rally, and a 26 yd TD from Jordan Rodgers to Chris Boyd to pull it off but they deserve the accolades. Receiving is clearly their bread and butter, well Jordan Matthews is anyway, but they don’t have a rushing game either but their Defense was good enough to give up 403 yards passing to Bo Wallace, yet yield only 1 TD. Sad, yet impressive. I’m predicting Vandy ends the season 8-4; 6-3 in the SEC. Next Game: at Tennessee on Saturday, November 17th @ 7:00 PM

9. Missouri Tigers (5-5, 2-5) Prior Rank #10- It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish, and one week from their first SEC victory, James Franklin finished strong. This 4 OT game drug on so long, I thought they were going to have to draw pistols at 10 paces, stopping TN on their possession in OT, sealed the W. In a 51-48 game, you’d think the stats would be “B Button” video game-esque but really the ball was spread out and the scoring came from every facet, save for Defense. While they have beaten two of the worst teams in the SEC for their victories, they’re one victory away from becoming bowl eligible. Nice job. Next Game: vs. Syracuse, on Saturday, November 17th @ 7:00 PM

10. Ole Miss Rebels (5-5, 2-4) Prior Rank #9- Well there’s good and bad news here; the good news is Bryson Rose is a stud PK. The bad news is he may well be, at least, their second biggest Offensive threat. Without question, Bo Wallace is their best player, and it showed behind his 403 yards passing, TD, but that’s where to good vibes end. Head Coach Hugh Freeze has already done more than most everyone thought he could in his first season in Oxford, and they’re still in line for a bowl berth if they can win one of the next two. Well, at least the last one. No way they beat LSU. Next Game: at LSU on Saturday, November 17th @ 3:30 PM

11. Tennessee Volunteers (4-6, 0-6) Prior Rank #11- It seems clear that Derek Dooley isn’t longed for the SEC, as he has a very promising and talented, SEC level QB in Tyler Bray and Slash player in Cordarrelle Patterson, but the Defense is highly suspect. Neither side of the ball is having the right buttons pushed, or plays called to be successful. They’re only ranked this high because, the worst in the SEC really is that bad. Next Game: vs. Vanderbilt on Saturday, November 17th @ 7:00 PM

12. Arkansas Razorbacks (4-6, 2-4) Prior Rank #12- I can’t get “Lunatic Fringe” out of my head. I can’t think of a team in more disarray when the season began that these Razorbacks. They have, arguably, one of the most talented QB’s in the SEC with Tyler Wilson but a poor O-Line, poor WR’s and RB’s, and a lunatic for a HC. They know they will have a new coach next season so they find it tough to stay in games and compete. Turnovers (2 INT) and Sacks (3)hurt this in this one, but that’s common with this Jedavean Clowney led Defense. Fortunately for the kids, the season is almost over. Unfortunately, they have to play MSU next week. However, I’m predicting the upset. Next Game: at Mississippi State University on Saturday, November 17th @ 12:21 PM

13. Auburn Tigers (2-8, 0-7) Prior Rank #13- The only question here is whether Gene Chizik is still their coach. I keep hearing he’s out on this day or an announcement on this day, yet nothing changes. We’ve been able to see exactly who wins and loses games in this league, and it is ALWAYS the players. Think of what Cam’s Heisman season really meant considering now that they don’t have him, they are one spot higher in the SEC Power Rankings than a team who lost to Western Kentucky. They didn’t stand a chance against Georgia but Jonathan Wallace (181, INT) and Emory Blake (6-104) managed to make a connection during the game. After almost losing to UL-Monroe earlier in the season, I don’t know if Chizik is exactly looking forward to the next game either. Next Game: vs. Alabama A&M on Saturday, November 17th @ 2:00 PM

14. Kentucky Wildcats (1-9, 0-7) Prior Rank #14- BYE Next Game: vs. Samford on Saturday, November 17th @ 7:30 PM
