Prediction and game info

This will not be an easy game for the Wildcats. This is Kentucky’s first ‘real’ road game. Kentucky always gets every team’s best shot, especially on the road. Which Kentucky basketball team will we see on Wednesday? If it’s the team that dominated every aspect of the game against rival UofL, then the Cats will win by double digits. If it’s the lackadaisical group that barely escaped with a win against Georgia, then Kentucky is in trouble.

I for one don’t like the way this game sets up for the Wildcats. The Tigers are young and hungry and first-year coach Will Wade is looking to make a statement in their SEC opener. I hope I’m wrong, but I think LSU is going to emerge victorious over the Wildcats.

Prediction: Kentucky 71 LSU 76

Time: 8:30 PM ET
