Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Recruiting: Skal and Matthews sign LOI; Briscoe will wait

Coach John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats made a lot of noise last night with the additions of Skal Labissiere, and Isaiah Briscoe to their 2015 class to join Charles Matthews. Kentucky went from #40 in the rankings to #1 in the ESPN polls, but some other national recruiting services have them at #2 just behind Arizona.  It was the once chance for the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Recruiting class to make some nice in the early period and they hit a grand slam

Kentucky was late to come in for the recruitment of Isaiah Briscoe, but Slice, and Calipari worked their magic once again and pull another upstate star.

Charles Matthews signed his LOI today, and Skal also signed at their respective high schools. Isaiah Briscoe said he would wait until the spring to sign because he wanted to make sure he had a spot available on the team essentially meaning he’s waiting for the Harrison Twins to go pro as everybody is expecting them to.

I hope the BBN is thrilled with these two commitments and stop worrying about all the stories about Skal’s guardian. TRUST CALIPARI. I thought after 5 seasons some fans would realize he knows what he’s doing.

I think Kentucky ends up with the #1 recruiting class in 2015 by the time its all set, and done with some high level players in the spring.

This will be a busy weekend for Kentucky athletics, and it got off on the right foot last night with two more elite level talents coming to Lexington.
