RAJON RONDO
BOSTON CELTICS
Rondo has played in just 68 games over the past two seasons, but is set to regain his title as an elite PG. It seems as if he has been in the league forever, but Rondo is just 28. For the season, Rondo averaged 11.7 points, 9.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds. Keeping healthy will be a focus and it is still up in the air as to whether Rondo will be ready for the season opener. He completed his first full contact practice on Friday. Regardless, Rondo should be back within a couple of weeks. If Marcus Smart does start the season and plays well, expect the “Will Rondo be traded talk” to continue.

MARQUIS TEAGUE
PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
As of this writing, Marquis Teague is still on a roster NBA. Teague was just traded from the Nets to the Sixers and the Philly press was quick to note that Teague has the worst player efficiency rating of all time. Welcome to Philadelphia, Marquis. Last season, Teague averaged 2.7 points, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 rebound a game. I guess the only place to go is up, right?

JOHN WALL
WASHINGTON WIZARDS
After four years in the NBA, you have to regard Wall as an elite PG. He averaged 19.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.1 rebounds per game last year and shot a career best 35.1% from long range. And he is just 24. Wall’s shot continues to be a work in progress but you can’t argue with his all around game. He had a career high 29 double doubles last year and got his first taste of playoff action. The Wizards are going to be a fun team to watch again.

JAMES YOUNG
BOSTON CELTICS
It’s been a rough preseason for James as he played in just two games due to wrist and hamstring injuries. There is still a buzz that he may spend time in the D-League as well because it is going to be very tough for James to crack the Celtics rotation. In two preseason games, he averaged 7.5 points. By the way, I’m not really a Celtics fan, but I want one of those shirts.
