The Kentucky Basketball Bahamas tour is just days away. Yesterday fans got their first look at what the Cats will be wearing when they hit Nassau.

As with any uniform change there are some who are for it and some against. I usually don’t get extremely swayed either way. I have liked most of Kentucky’s uniform changes over the years.
I do have to draw the line though.
@ukmary1968 I'm not a stickler for uniform tradition, but I think the '96 denims were the worst. I'll take these over those any day.

The denim uniforms that the 1996 UK squad rocked were the ones I just never could get with. That said, once that team got on the court they quickly made everyone forget about the style of uniform.
Going 34-2 and cutting down nets at the end of the season will have that effect. Derek Anderson, Tony Delk, Ron Mercer, Antoine Walker and company saved the denim unis from facing any real fan base dislike.
Those guys could have went out and balled in corduroy, polyester, rayon or any other hideous fabric that Converse could have chosen and it wouldn’t have mattered in the least.
Now imagine if the denims had been unveiled during the Billy Gillispie era as they were getting ran off the floor by the likes of Gardner-Webb, VMI and San Diego. Uniforms would have been mentioned right up there with terrible coaching and horrendous practice routines.
It just goes to show that winning trumps all, no matter what the team is wearing.
