Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Calipari is recovering well after surgery

Even if the national media wants us to believe that Cal is interviewing for the Los Angeles Lakers, we know better. It always happens during a long weekend that the national media wants to exaggerate a story in order to increase hits. We’ve seen this too often before (Eric Bledsoe, Enes Kanter, etc.).

Thanks to social media and his son Brad Calipari, we now know that Coach Cal is not interviewing for any NBA position and is recovering well after hip replacement surgery. After the hiring of Barry Rohrssen yesterday, this all but assures that Cal is in Lexington to stay. Best wishes to Coach Calipari on his recovery and long deserved month of rest.
