The Washington Wizards, led by former Wildcat, John Wall, have put a dagger into the hearts of the Chicago Bulls, while surprising many experts and fans…they’re headed to the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference in the NBA Playoffs.

After missing the Playoffs since the 2008 season, the Wizards beat the Bulls 4-1 in the best of 7 games. Their next opponent will be either the Atlanta Hawks or the Indiana Pacers. If the Pacers, John Wall fans can travel up to Indianapolis to watch their former Wildcat play in the semi-finals, but the Hawks are leading the Pacers 3-2 in the best out of 7.

In their 75-69 win over the Bulls last night, John Wall played for 39 minutes, wracking up a game high 24 points. Wall shot 7-19 from the field, 1-2 from three point territory and 9-11 from the free throw line, pretty solid numbers. Wall also grabbed 7 defensive rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block and only 1 turnover as he led his team, proving that he is becoming one of the NBA’s most elite players.

It’s amazing to see how far the Wizards have come since drafting John Wall. His growth on the court has improved their team significantly. As he grows as a player, the team improves, it’s an awesome sight. Let’s pull our former Wildcat to victory over their next opponent. Who knows, they may come out as the champions.
