At the start, it was obvious that Kentucky was struggling. Throughout the trial, Kentucky is by no means out of this game. With 9:29 left in the first half, Julius Randle hobbled off the court with trainers and Coach Ray Oliver to try and run over what may have been an injury, and was trying to work himself back into the game. Before long he was back in the game and the potential injury seemed to be pretty minor. As we’ve seen almost all season, Kentucky’s real downfall is in free throws. The good thing is they make up for it in a strong defense and when they move the ball in order to complete a play. Because of the high concentration of fouls in this game, Wisconsin is going into the half in double bonus while Kentucky is in bonus. Four Wildcats are going into halftime with at least 2 fouls each. Kentucky is down 36-40 heading into the half.
