LAST MEETING

*NCAA FINAL FOUR – NEW ORLEANS, LA

Thanks to the NCAA’s creative seeding, we get another matchup with a great storyline. Kentucky, with their five freshman starters will face the only other team that sent five freshman starters to a Final Four. The prize for this game is another trip to the Final Four. And the last time these two teams met? You got it. In the Final Four in 1993, Michigan’s “Fab Five” knocked off Kentucky. It’s time for revenge with Calipari’s “Tweakables”.

Three of Kentucky’s last four games have been against top five teams and UK is 2-1 with a one point loss to Florida. The Wolverines have won ten of eleven games with wins over Michigan State and Ohio State in that span. Their only loss was to the Spartans.

Both teams are playing their best ball with a trip to the Final Four at stake. It should be another classic. So lets meet the Wolverines.
