2014 NCAA Basketball Tournament: UConn 60, Michigan State 54

Another upset has taken hold of the NCAA tournament today. #7 UConn fought hard and overtook the #4 Michigan State team at 2:20 today in Madison Square Garden in New York City. UConn’s top performer barely beat out the top performer for Michigan State when #13 senior guard for UConn, Shabazz Napier, with 25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal. Michigan State’s top performer, Gary Harris, led for his team, and was just shy of his competitor stats. The #14 sophomore guard led with 22 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite the effort from both teams today, the UConn Huskies will advance in the tournament and the Michigan State Spartans have reached the end of their road.
