2014 NCAA Tournament: UCONN Huskies 81, Iowa State Cyclones 76

As upsets have become so common in this year’s NCAA tournament, it is not as astonishing the UCONN put up such an enormous fight tonight in their Sweet 16 game against Iowa State. Iowa State, ranked #3 and the home of some incredible scorers, went into the game tonight in New York with their heads held high. UCONN went into the game with the sole intention of having a great game and achieving an upset. #22 junior forward, Dustin Hogue, led his Iowa State Cyclones with 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. The Connecticut Huskies were led tonight by, #2 junior forward, DeAndre Daniels. He had 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Although Hogue led his team with more points than Daniels, the points were more distributed among the UCONN Huskies. In the Sweet 16 game tonight, the UCONN Huskies dominated the Iowa State Cyclones, 81-76.
