2014 NCAA Basketball Tournament: Baylor Bears 85, Creighton Bluejays 55

Although it’s becoming less surprising, another upset took place tonight between Baylor and Creighton. It seems as though the #3 ranked Creighton team was having a rough night tonight after they were outscored 40-20 by #6 Baylor in the first half. Tipping off at 8:11 in San Antonio, Texas, Creighton couldn’t find their spark from the very start of the game. Creighton’s top performer, #3 forward, senior Doug McDermott led his team tonight with 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. The top performer for Baylor was junior forward Royce O’Neale. He led tonight with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals. Although the top performer for Creighton significantly outscored the top performer for Baylor, the Baylor Bears still defeated the Creighton Bluejays 85-55 and are hoping for more shocking wins as they advance in the Sweet 16.
