Senior night started off well for the Kentucky Wildcats as Jarrod Polson, and Jon Hood got the start and drained 2 3 pointers to open the game. Head Coach John Calipari left them in until the 16:56 of the 1st half.

Alabama wasn’t here to just let Kentucky get back to winning ways as they led at halftime 28-25. Kentucky’s defense is having trouble stopping Alabama’s senior guard Trevor Releford. He has 9 of the teams 28 points at halftime, but sit most of the later part of the second half with 2 personal fouls.

Kentucky just can’t get anything going on offense once again. Julius Randle, and Dakari Johnson are doing a good job on the boards for the Wildcats, but the shots just aren’t falling.

Jon Hood shot at 3 to beat the shot clock, and it went in but the refs called it a shot clock violation. John Calipari is a changed man tonight as he is more positive towards his players, but the refs are getting a break. Many questionable calls had him as frustarted as last Saturday just without the technicals.

Kentucky will once again have to fight back from a halftime deficit to a team they shouldn’t be trailing. Kentucky is led by Julius Randle leads all scorers with 6 points.
