Kentucky Wildcats Hoops Survive in Starkville

The UK Hoops team were able to leave Starkville, Mississippi with a win after the the Bulldogs made a late surge to force the game into overtime.  The Lady Cats lead by three at the half with a score of 38-35.  However, the Bulldogs would hold the Cats to 28 points in the second half to tie the game at 66 and force overtime.  The Lady Cats would have a surge of their own in overtime by outscoring the Bulldogs, 15-8.  Final Score of the game was 81-74, Kentucky.

DeNesha Stallworth had a huge night with 16 points and a career-high 20 rebounds.  Bria Goss would lead the team in scoring with 20 points and broke two ties during overtime, before the Cats would eventually go on a 8-3 run to win the game.
