Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: No Time For Rest

After tonight’s crazy loss  against Arkansas they have no time to think about it and they have to move on. The Wildcats play Saturday, so unfortunately rest is something this Cats team won’t get a lot of as they have to travel to Columbia to face the Gamecocks. It will be interesting to see how this team will respond after losing to the Razorbacks yet again not that the Gamecocks are a real threat but just the mood of the players might be different. Tonight’s loss marks Arkansas’s first win at Rupp since 1994 and Calipari’s first time losing to the same team twice in one season since he has been at the helm here at Kentucky. With only 3 games left on the schedule for the Wildcats it is vital that they get their act together especially from the free throw line. Free throws have killed this team all year and Thursday night was no exception and with those numbers just about any team in the nation can beat us. On a promising note, Willie Cauley-Stein showed up tonight and really gave a great effort across the board and that’s something that the Cats have to have on a consistent basis to make it far in March.
