March Madness

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

At the beginning of the year, Kentucky Wildcat fans all over the nation were clamoring about what many called the most talented team to ever take the court in college basketball. There were expectations of a 40-0 year, a guaranteed 9th National Championship, and a record number of first round picks in the 2014 NBA Draft. However, with just five games left before postseason play, fans find their beloved Wildcats sitting at a modest 20-6 and ranked #18 in the AP poll. This has fans worried, many of them saying that the team will be lucky to make it past the Sweet-16. It seems, however, we as a fan base are simply overreacting.

The wonderful folks over at Kentucky Sports Radio had seven major college basketball analysts make their picks for the five teams that will have the best chance to win the National Championship come March. The results, which were also posted in their blog, may surprise you. Check them out below.
