Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Recruiting: Luke Kennard has his Top Six Schools

Franklin high school junior, Luke Kennard recently spoke his a Lexington television station (LEX18-TV) and talked about which schools were his favorite.  Although it may not mean anything, it was interesting that Kentucky was the first school that Kennard mentioned.  Kennard said in the interview with LEX18-TV that growing up, he has been a Ohio State football and basketball fan, but also a Kentucky basketball fan because of his dad is from Paintsville, Kentucky.

Here are Kennard’s top six schools:

  1. Kentucky
  2. Michigan
  3. Ohio State
  4. Duke
  5. Louisville
  6. North Carolina

Kennard is a five-star recruit and is ranked #24 overall on ESPN’s Top 60 and is ranked #16 overall on Rivals 150.  In his interview with LEX18-TV, Kennard said that his college decision could come soon to take away any pressure going into his senior season.
