* SEC Tournament – NASHVILLE, TN

It was just two weeks ago when these two teams faced for sole possession of second place in the SEC.  And since that game, both teams have gone in different directions.   Kentucky is 3-1 in the past two weeks and the Rebels have lost three of four.  It should be noted that those three games were on the road for the Rebels and  winning on the road at Oxford has been tough for Kentucky.  Kentucky is 6-4 in their last ten trips to Oxford, including a 87-74 win last year over then #16 Ole Miss.  John Calipari is 1-1 on the road in Oxford and lost in 2011.

This is another desperate team that Kentucky will face on the road.  Ole Miss currently has a #69 RPI and a win over Kentucky will give them a nice boost down the stretch.  But Ole Miss is not infallible at home.  They have losses to #60 Dayton and #67 Mercer.  This is a game that Kentucky should win to set up a strong finish to the season.

That’s why they play the games though.  Let’s meet the Rebels.
