Kentucky Wildcats Football Recruiting: Updated Class of 2015 Rankings

Today released updated rankings for the top 100 recruits in the Class of 2105.  Damien Harris, Madison Southern running back and Kentucky recruit, moved up one spot.

Rivals now has Harris listed as the No. 4 overall prospect.  He is also rated by Rivals as a five-star recruit, and is considered by many to be the No. 1 running back in the country.  Harris stands at 5’11”, weighs 190 pounds, and is from Berea, Kentucky.  Although he has offers from programs such as Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin, Kentucky appears to be a serious contender for his talents.

ESPN’s rankings of Harris are a bit more stiff.  Even though they have him as the No. 1 running back, they rate him as a four-star recruit and as the No. 17 player overall.

Over this past weekend Harris and multiple other recruits from the Class of 2015 visited Kentucky for its “junior day” festivities.  Other players in the new top 100 by Rivals who visited Kentucky over the weekend include defensive tackle Daron Payne (No. 7), wide receiver George Campbell (No. 16), linebacker Justin Hilliard (No. 47), quarterback Jarrett Stidham (No. 48), linebacker Jeffrey Holland (No. 57), running back Larry Scott (No. 58), and defensive back Marcus Lewis (No. 76).
