Kentucky Wildcats Outlast Scrappy Auburn Tigers

The Kentucky Wildcats hit the road tonight to face the Auburn Tigers, and despite having one of their worst offensive performances of the year, manged to escape with a victory.

The Cats are now 19-5 and in 9-2 SEC play, while the Tigers are and in the SEC. The Tigers are now 11-11 and 3-8 in the SEC.

Andrew Harrison lead the way for UK with 14 points. Julius Randle picked-up another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Other than that, the only other noteworthy offensive showing was when center Willie Cauley-Stein drove hard to the rim and threw down an emphatic slam-dunk over two Tigers defenders:

Auburn senior guard Chris Denson terrorized the Cats all night while leading the Tigers in scoring with 26 points and was the only reason Auburn made this a game.

The Cats will now turn their focus to the No. 3 Florida Gators at Rupp Arena on Saturday with ESPN College Gameday in the house.
