Like the receiving core, this backfield group lacks experience and is relatively young. Williams is considered the #1 all-purpose back in the nation, which could benefit UK in the return game.
He committed to Kentucky June 13, 2013 after his official visit, but sealed the deal today when his letter of intent came through UK’s fax.
Williams is 5’9” and 192 pounds, and according to rivals.com, he runs a 4.3 40 and has a 34 inch vertical.
Previously committed to Georgia, Williams also had offers from Tennessee, Oregon, South Carolina, Mizzou, LSU, Florida State, Florida, Clemson and Auburn among others.
Williams played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl with Thaddeus Snodgrass and Blake Bone last month.
His senior season via maxpreps.com he had 11 rushing touchdowns for 757 yards on 59 carries.
He announced via twitter (@boom_that_guy) that he would wear #18 at Kentucky.
