Darryl Long joins the latest Kentucky Wildcats Football Podcast

For yesterday anyway, the name of the game in Lexington was YAHTZEE! and not basketball as five-star DT Matt Elam committed to Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats.  And that capped off (for all intent and purposes) Mark Stoops’s 2014 recruiting class, which is the best in Kentucky history.  As of now, all three of the major recruiting services have Kentucky ranked from #13 to #19 in the nation and ESPN should have the Wildcats entrenched in the Top 25 as well.

So of course, we needed to have a podcast.

Kyle, Darren Durham, and Jason Marcum were joined by Patrick Loney from Scout and very special guest Darryl Long.

Darryl Long is a member of that historic 2014 class and is rated as a *** TE.   Long has that TE size (6’5, 234)  however and could be in the mix for playing time this year.  He was also one of the first “Ohio commits” and he helped lead the way for the rest of this class.  Long visited both UK and UL on April 13 of last year and committed to the Cats two weeks later, so he gets additional points for spurning the Dirty Birds.

Also, Kyle, Darren, Jason and Patrick talk about the other recent commits not named Elam and give us a state of this class podcast heading into National Signing Day.

As always, you can go here to access the podcasts in iTunes and you can subscribe and even download them to your phone or tablet  for an easy on the go podcast.  Or you can listen below.  Either way, make sure you give us a good rating and tell your friends to check us out.
