The Kentucky Wildcats have struggled to get off to fast starts this year, but they made sure the undermanned Georgia Bulldogs weren’t going to hang around for very long.

An early 19-2 run on the heels of a balanced scoring effort allowed UK to take command of this game early and cruise to a 79-54 victory.

Willie Cauley-Stein bounced back from his three-game slump and scored eight points, blocked six shots and grabbed an eye-opening six steals. The rest of his teammates and the Dawgs combined for six steals

The Cats are now 15-4 overall and 5-1 in the SEC. Assuming the Florida Gators hold serve at home against the Tennessee Volunteers, UK will remain in second-place in the SEC with road trips to the LSU and Missouri Tigers next week.
