The Kentucky Wildcats continue to pursue Montaque ‘Teki’ Gill-Caesar in hope of persuading the 2015 shooting guard out of West Virginia to reclassify to the ’14 class and join another John Calipari top-5 recruiting class.

But even if he does re-class, UK won’t be the only team in heavy pursuit of him. The Michigan State Spartans offered Gill-Caesar a scholarship in November and have remained in contact with him ever since in the event he does reclassify.

As of now, the Spartans appear like to lose star shooting guard Gary Harris, who is projected as a top-10 NBA draft pick, according to Draft Express, and it will be hard for him to bypass a shot at being an NBA lottery pick.

According to Adam Zagoria, Gill-Caesar has recently confirmed he’ll visit Michigan State soon, though he’s still undecided on reclassifying.

His recruitment is likely a few months away from ending if does re-class, but a player of his caliber is worth the wait.
