The Kentucky Wildcats hosted one of its top remaining targets for an official visit this past weekend in Niles (Ohio) McKinley  offensive tackle and West Virginia commit Josh Krok

The 6-8, 300 lb mammoth of a lineman was committed to West Virginia, but following his visit, the feeling was he would eventually commit to UK.As it turns out, he’s just committed to the Cats, according to Justin Roland of

Krok, who has been committed to West Virginia since the summer, said he had “the best time of my life” during his official visit to UK last weekend

He is considered a three-star player by, ESPN and 247 Sports. Outside of Matt Elam, finding another quality offensive tackle was the Wildcats’ top priority in closing out its 2014 class.

With commitments from only two lineman in Jarrett LaRubbio and Nick Richardson, UK desperately needed to add at least one more lineman by singing day, and Krok is a huge pickup for the Cats.

Krok is the 26th commitment of the 2014 class, and there’s projected to be just two more scholarship openings. One is being held for Matt Elam, and the other was likely be held for Florida offensive tackle Derrick Kelly, but with Krok’s commitment, they may move on if they feel they don’t have a good chance of landing him.
