Kentucky Wildcats Cruise past Texas A&M Aggies, 68-51

The Kentucky Wildcats hosted the Texas A&M Aggies tonight in the midst of serious snowstorm hitting Lexington, but that wasn’t enough to keep the Rupp Arena faithful from packing the house to watch their Cats cruise to an easy win.

The Cats got off to a nice start and built an 18-11 lead on the strength of two early 3-pointers by Andrew Harrison, who continues to look like the star point guard everyone thought he ‘d become.

UK held a comfortable lead for most of the game, but A&M did make a small run int the second-half to pull to within 37-33.

But that’s when UK dropped the hammer, going on a 31-14 run and cruised to the finish line with a 68-51 victory.

The Cats will now be off until Saturday when they host the Georgia Bulldogs (9-7, 31 in SEC), who beat the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday following their upset-win over UK.

The Dawgs host the South Carolina Gamecocks Wednesday night.
