Chicago Bulls Trading Marquis Teague to Brooklyn Nets

The Chicago Bulls are trading former first-round draft pick Marquis Teague to the New Jersey Nets, according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski:

The Bulls recently recalled second-year point guard Marquis Teague from the Iowa Energy of the Development League.

Teague averaged 12 points on 46.2 percent shooting with 4.8 assists in 24 minutes over eight games with the Energy.

After helping lead the Kentucky Wildcats to the 2012 NCAA National Championship, Teague has struggled to make an impact in the NBA. In 19 games with the Bulls this season, Teague averaged 12.7 minutes, and hopefully a fresh start will help his career take off.
