** NCAA FINAL FOUR – NEW ORLEANS, LA
Let’s face it. There really is nothing more that can be written about this rivalry as the last two NCAA Champions face off at Rupp Arena. The Kentucky Wildcats have taken control of the rivalry lately, going 7-3 over the last ten games. Surprisingly enough, Kentucky has just been 3-2 at Rupp versus the Cardinals recently, but John Calipari has restored UK’s home court domination, losing just two games at Rupp in the last four and a half years.
This game has a different feel as the loser will still be looking for their first quality win of the year heading into January. Neither conference is a powerhouse, so there is a renewed sense of urgency about this game and always, the losing fanbase will be thrust into a full-fledged “the sky is falling” panic mode.
Too much has been written about this game over the past few days, so let’s just meet the Cardinals.
