The Kentucky Wildcats are a little more than an hour away from tipping-off against the Boise State Broncos, but they’ll do so without two players due to different ailments. Freshman forward/center Marcus Lee is dealing with a stomach illness that will prevent him from playing tonight. Lee is averaging 7.6 minutes per contest and 4.0 points and 2.1 board per game.

Senior guard Jon Hood is also out as he continues to suffer from concussion-like symptoms due to a head injury he sustained in practice almost two weeks ago.¬†Hood hasn’t been able to crack the rotation yet this year, and this injury may prevent him from ever doing so.

While Lee was averaging just four minutes per game in the past four games, he played 10 or more minutes if four of his first five games. He scored 17 points in his season-debut against UNC Asheville in just 15 minutes of action. He played only four minutes in Saturday’s loss against the Baylor Bears and grabbed just two rebounds while picking-up two fouls.
