First Half Recap: Kentucky 41 - Boise State 31

The Cats are up 10 at the half, that’s largely thanks to James Young making key three-point baskets.  Overall, a fairly sluggish start to the game.  However, in the final seconds of the half, the Cats started to show some signs of improvement from the opening minutes.

So far, James Young’s scoring has been as bold as Willie Caulie-Stein’s new hairdo as he has scored 17 points and is 4-9 at the three-point line.  The Harrison twins combine together for only 11 points.  Willie Caulie-Stein and Julius Randle both have six points apiece.

On the Boise State side, Anthony Drmic has been doing most of the scoring as he has scored 13 of Boise State’s 31 points.  Going into the 2nd half, the Cats are going to have to find an answer for him.

Besides a sluggish start, the Cats lead at the half 41-31.
