The Boise State Broncos are coming to Rupp Arena to face the Kentucky Wildcats tomorrow night at 9:00PM.

Well… trying to come to Rupp Arena, as the wicked woman of the weather, who wrecked the weekend of UK fans wanting to watch the Wildcats fail to win against the Baylor Bears from Waco (TX), just wasted the Boise Broncos travel plans this week.

The Broncos were set to come from Boise, Idaho via a connection through Chicago’s Ohare airport before finally arriving in Lexington this afternoon. However, Mother Nature’s wrath on the Mid-West led to the cancellation thousands of flights across the country including the one the basketball team was set to take from ORD to LEX. Now, the team is traveling by bus to reach the game and are scheduled to arrive around midnight ET.

The change in travel plans has cancelled the teams scheduled practice that was to take place this evening. The Bears are still expected to have a shoot around at 11 AM tomorrow morning.

Boise St, who is off to the best start in school history, winning their first 8 games, lost 2 points in this weeks AP poll (36 to 34), but find themselves 4 teams out of the Top 25.

Kentucky, who lost to then #20 Baylor – now #14 – Friday night/Saturday morning, dropped to #11 in the polls.
