The first month of the college basketball season is in the books and it is kind of surprising that none of the top three winningest teams overall came out unscathed. Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina all suffered early losses and UNC and Kansas fell to unranked teams.
It’s a sign of the times in college basketball that the mid majors are getting better and Kentucky has probably the hardest overall schedule this month filled with traditional powers and mid major teams that are really starting to gel. Kansas has a similarly tough schedule and while North Carolina has some cupcakes, they also face a couple of heavyweights. Let’s look at how the three NCAA win leaders fared in November.
