Kentucky Wildcats Football: Cats Paws VS Georgia

After a hard week for the Cats from losing players to suspension and even dismissal from the team the Wildcats had an even harder time on Saturday night. Georgia came into this game off of a very hard loss to Auburn last week so you knew they were going to come in and make a point that they were not going to lose to Kentucky no matter what. There were 2 players that really stepped up their game this week and I would like to talk a little bit about them.

#1. Dyshawn Mobley- After Raymond Sanders was dismissed from the team, the thought amongst big blue fans would obviously be that freshman Jojo Kemp would take a heavier load in the backfield. However, on Saturday Kemp was stopped in his tracks and proved to be extremely ineffective for the first time in a while totaling 5 yards on 8 carries. Mobley on the other hand was feeling it and rushed for 92 yards on 10 carries including a 69 yard touchdown run. I like what I saw from Mobley it showed that Kentucky has some depth at least and that’s something we haven’t had for quite some time.

#2. Javess Blue- Javess had another solid game for the Cats on Saturday grabbing another touchdown to add to his season totals and racking up 93 receiving yards. He also had the most all purpose yards between the two teams with 193 (93 receiving, 101 kick return, -1 rushing) so it was nice to see him have an impact on the game and we’ll need him to do that with the Demarco Robinson situation still being an issue.
