At one time, the Vanderbilt Commodores used to be the whipping boy of not only Kentucky, but the entire SEC as well. But those times have changed. James Franklin has transformed the Commodores into a bowl team, seemingly overnight, and have owned UK the past two years to the tune of 78-8.

To make matters worse for UK fans, the Commodores are coming off a win over the Florida Gators in the Swamp, which ended 22 years of futility against Florida. The Commodores also have a win over Georgia this year and are just a win away from being bowl eligible. Kentucky is in the position of playing spoiler against the Commodores and more importantly, could get a win on the road that can help to turn this season around.

With that said, let’s meet the Commodores.
