Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Battle In Chicago

With this huge match up in Chicago tomorrow this young Kentucky squad will look to show America that they are not overrated at number 1. This game will be all about tempo in my eyes because Spartans head coach Tom Izzo has always been able to have a grasp on the tempo no matter who his team is playing. The Wildcats will have to start off hot if they want to win this ballgame as it will be a grind it out type of game, Michigan State is no slouch and they will be hounding our freshman with every dribble of the basketball. If the Wildcats expect to come out victorious they will have to do two things, limit turnovers and get second chance points.

Kentucky has been better each and every game at the limiting turnovers as they are growing together as a team. They will be asked to make the extra pass in this one because selfishness will earn them a long trip home back to Lexington with a loss. I see this game as a true test of how good this team is right now, and how good we can truly be when matched up against a well coached and disciplined opponent. Izzo will have his team ready for battle as will Calipari and it should be quite the show on Tuesday night and I cannot wait.
