The No. 9 Mizzou Tigers  will be looking for their ninth win of the season Saturday as they travel to Lexington, Ky., for MU’s first game there since 1968, a 12-6 defensive struggle that Cats were able to win.

The Tigers are coming off one of their most complete games of the season last week vs the Tennessee Volunteers. They outgained Tennessee by a 502-334 margin in total offense last Saturday, as Mizzou’s defense kept doing what they do best – cause havoc and create turnovers. The Tigers forced three more turnovers, getting two interceptions and a fumble recovery, increasing their season total to 17 (second in the nation) .

They also notched 7 tackles-for-loss, 3 QB sacks, 4 pass breakups and 3 QB hurries. Their defense is full of players who fly to the ball and are almost always in position to make a ply on it.
