ANTHONY DAVIS, NEW ORLEANS PELICANS

FRIDAY: Sounds weird to say Davis had an “off night” with 26 points and 17 boards, but AD went just 9-23 from the field and missed several short shots. Davis added three blocks but the Pelicans were trashed by the Magic 110-90.

SATURDAY:  Davis really filled the stat sheet plus led his team to a 105-84 win over the Bobcats.  Davis had 25 points, 8 boards, 6 blocks, 6 steals, and 4 assists.

 

MICHEAL KIDD-GILCHRIST, CHARLOTTE  BOBCATS

FRIDAY:  MKG played well in a 90-84 win over Cleveland with 15 points and 6 rebounds.  He went 6-12 from the field and added a steal and a block.

SATURDAY:  It was an off night for Michael in the loss to the Pelicans.  MKG had 3 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist.

 

TERRENCE JONES, HOUSTON ROCKETS

FRIDAY:  Jones played just four minutes in the Rockets 113-105 win over the Mavericks and had 3 points, all from the line.  Jones also grabbed a rebound and was a -9 in his time on the court.

SATURDAY:  Another 4 points from Jones as the Rockets beat the Jazz 104-93.  Jones played just 7 minutes.

 

TAYSHAUN PRINCE, MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

FRIDAY:  One of the “old men” among UK NBA Cats, Tayshaun Prince is still getting minutes in the league.  Prince had 8 points and 2 rebounds and 2 assists in the Grizzlies’s 111-108 win over Detroit.

SATURDAY:  The Grizzlies were trashed by the Mavs 111-99 and Tayshaun struggled as well.  Tayshaun had 3 points, 2 rebounds,  a steal and an assist.

ERIC BLEDSOE, PHOENIX SUNS

FRIDAY:  Eric led the Suns in scoring with 18 points and had 6 assists and 5 rebounds.  The Suns held on to beat the Jazz  87-84.

SUNDAY:  Another big night for Bledsoe with 26 points and 14 assists, but a 103-96 loss to the Thunder.  Bledsoe also had 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

 

ARCHIE GOODWIN:, PHOENIX SUNS

FRIDAY:  Goodwin logged 4 points in 11 minutes during the Suns win and also blocked two shots.

 

ENES KANTER, UTAH JAZZ

FRIDAY:  Finally starting, Kanter overcame a rough 8-22 shooting night to score 20 points and 12 rebounds in the Jazz’s loss to  the Suns.  Kanter also dished an assist and had a +4.

SATURDAY:  Another solid night for Kanter with 16 points and 8 rebounds in the loss to the Rockets.  Kanter also had an assist and block.
