Drew Barker can’t get to UK soon enough, and the Hebron native continues to tear-up the high school competition, and for his efforts, he’ll be in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January, and they will be honoring him for that at his school on October 29th:

Barker had over 3,500 yards of total offense in his junior season as he threw for 22 touchdowns and ran for another 18 scores, and that helped put him on the map to receive this nomination.

Up to this point in his senior season at Conner High School, Barker had totaled 1648 yards on 125/195 passing and added 565 yards on 104 rushes.

He’s scheduled to enroll early at UK and compete for the starting QB job during spring ball next year, but for now, he’s living up his last few months as a high schooler and hopes to lead his team to a state championship.
