The Madness is upon us again.

The Big Blue Madness, that is.

And even though it’s not held at midnight anymore and it’s not even the first of these events across the country anymore, but Big Blue Madness has not lost it’s Magic. It is still the always imitated, never duplicated event to kick of college basketball and that is evidenced by the sheer number of recruits that attend.

And John Calipari has taken BBM to a whole new level all by himself. Most people recall the “John Wall Dance” as the highlight of the 2009 BBM, but not me. John Calipari’s stump speech still gives me goosebumps to this day and makes me want to charge through the wall to play basketball for this man.

Aside from Calipari’s speech, the click player introduction video is usually one of the most anticipated of Big Blue Madness. Here is a look at the 2010 video:

Also the 2010 BBM featured the introduction of one of the greatest player to never suit up for Kentucky. Enes Kanter got his moment in the BBM sun.
