James Blackmon Jr. has always said “Just because I re-opened my recruitment doesn’t mean I won’t end up going back to Indiana” and maybe he wasn’t lying about that.
News broke yesterday that Kentucky will not be James Blackmon Jr’s last official visit like planned, and he has pushed back his tentative decision date that was October 22nd. He will still visit Kentucky this Friday for Big Blue Madness, but will now also visit Indiana after his Kentucky visit.
What does this mean for Kentucky? Well, it’s obviously not the best news, but I don’t think we should be all that worried about it, because I think Big Blue Madness will win him over. Also, his dad has been pushing for Kentucky ever since he re-opened his recruitment from Indiana.
Like I said earlier I still think James Blackmon Jr. ends up at Kentucky for now, but it could be a little bit more complicated then we originally thought.
Speaking of Big Blue Madness Jayson Tatum(2016) told Evan Daniels that he would visit Kentucky on Friday adding to the list of 2016 recruits that will be there. Tatum is one of the best 2016 prospects in the class, and while they don’t have rankings on most major recruiting sites; he is definitely going to be top 5.
Stanley Johnson, James Blackmon Jr, Trey Lyles, and Tyler Ulis will be the list for 2014 to attend Big Blue Madness as of now.
